My name is Elly and I am a Dutch food photographer,based in Rotterdam,The Netherlands.

I'm in love with food! The love started as a young child, watching my grandmother preparing the most delicious food.Especially the cakes and cookies she was baking.I really enjoyed her food.

There is so much beauty in food; the colours,contrast,textures,the way a dish is plated and of course the taste.

I was always taking pictures of my food with my phone,either when I was in a restaurant eating or sometimes from a dish at home.

​

In 2020 I've got a camera for my birthday and started practising photography.

At first I took a lot of pictures from flowers and nature, until I saw some beautiful

food images on Instagram and pinterest,and thought,I want to be able to also take beautiful food foto's!

After attending some workshops and a course for food photography and lots of practising,I decided to turn my passion into a career.
